Important Information
The above services are based on the current price of the materials/parts/any consultancy fee applicable plus the technical rate per hour as above when fitting.
* Travel Supplement
Fees are based on a 25-mile radius of the workshop (EH7 6LE). Journeys beyond this may incur an additional supplement, which will be clarified at the time of booking.
** Standard Tuning Inclusions
Includes a full assessment of the instrument (action & pedal/grand Lyre), minor adjustments, and a short condition report.
Piano Tuning & Maintenance Plans
Ensuring your instrument stays in peak condition year-round
I will be introducing a new structured maintenance plan. These agreements are designed for those who want peace of mind and a well-maintained instrument.
Standard Plan includes
A minimum 24-month maintenance agreement
Two professional piano tunings per year
One dedicated maintenance/regulation session included
OFFICIAL MEMBER
All Members of the Pianoforte Tuners’ Association have passed theoretical and practical examinations to prove their ability as qualified tuners or technicians and run their businesses in accordance with the PTA Code of Conduct. This gives you peace of mind that when you call upon the services of a PTA Member, they are fully accredited professional piano technicians and have the highest level of technical expertise.
Public Liability Insurance
As a full member of the Pianoforte Tuners’ Association, I hold public liability insurance amounting to £5,000,000, ensuring that you are protected while I work on your piano, giving you peace of mind.
PVG Disclosure Registered
I am registered with the PVG Disclosure Scheme in Scotland. Based in Edinburgh, I cover the entire city and the surrounding Lothians. I’m happy to travel further afield to assist you with your piano tuning needs.
